By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein.

By agreeing to these Terms, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence. You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, nor may you, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws). Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

 

2. Products and Authenticity

The White Kalā specializes in premium 925 BIS Hallmarked Sterling Silver jewelry. We make every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors and images of our products. However, due to the nature of digital displays and the natural properties of silver and cubic zirconia, slight variations may occur.

  • Tarnishing Disclaimer: 925 Sterling Silver naturally tarnishes over time when exposed to air, moisture, and certain chemicals (like perfumes or lotions). This natural oxidation is not a manufacturing defect and is not grounds for a refund.

3. Pricing and Payments

To keep our prices fair and transparent, we operate as a 100% online-payment brand. We do not offer Cash on Delivery (COD). Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. We shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, price change, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service. All payments are processed securely through our designated payment gateways.

4. Shipping and Delivery

We currently offer free shipping on all orders across India. Delivery times may vary depending on your location and external logistical factors. We are not responsible for delays caused by the courier service or customs clearance. Please note that we do not offer international shipping at this time; orders are strictly limited to delivery within India.

5. Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds

We want you to love your jewelry. If you are not entirely satisfied, we offer a 7-day return policy from the date of delivery.

  • Return Charges: In the event of a return, a flat service charge of Rs. 200 will be deducted from your final refund amount to cover processing and handling.

  • Unboxing Video: To protect both parties and ensure a smooth resolution for any claims regarding damaged, defective, or missing items, a continuous, uncut unboxing video is highly recommended and serves as your primary proof of claim.

  • Eligibility: The item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging with all tags, BIS hallmarking certificates, and invoices intact. Customized items and earrings (for hygiene reasons) are not eligible for returns.

6. Warranty and Repairs

We take pride in the craftsmanship of our 925 sterling silver jewelry and offer the following warranties:

  • Stone Warranty (15 Days): We provide a 15-day warranty covering issues related to stone setting, such as a cubic zirconia stone falling out.

  • Plating Warranty (1 Year): We offer a 1-year warranty on the plating of your jewelry. To avail of this plating service, the customer is responsible for paying all shipping charges associated with sending the item to our facility and its return delivery.

  • Note: These warranties do not cover damage resulting from rough handling, accidents, or exposure to harsh chemicals.

7. Intellectual Property

All content included on this site, such as text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of The White Kalā and Suvarna Ratna Jewel. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of this material is strictly prohibited.

8. Limitation of Liability

In no case shall The White Kalā, Suvarna Ratna Jewel, our directors, officers, employees, affiliates, or suppliers be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages of any kind arising from your use of any of the service or any products procured using the service.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra.
